Overview

The Freight Flow Lead is responsible for the execution of brand standards and the teammate experience as the in‑store expert for their department. Working under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead provides direction, coaching, and ensures optimal customer service and brand compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver the best service to customers and act as a mentor and coach to teammates.
  • Plan, organize, and control 30‑day staffing and assignments with guidance from the Assistant Store Manager.
  • Open and close the store, perform front‑end and cash office functions, and process firearms sales in compliance with state and federal regulations where applicable.
  • Uphold merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment requirements.
  • Assist with training teammates on company procedures and programs, including onboarding new employees and cross‑training.
  • Prioritize coaching and development, teaching the why behind tasks, plans, and processes such as NSPP, Scorecards, LP, etc.
  • Lead by example to support the store’s vision and help teammates align responsibilities with organizational goals.
  • Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome, safe, and respected.
  • Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all company information.
  • Support store operations across the store and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Prior retail sales or customer‑focused experience preferred.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift 15‑50 lbs repeatedly (up to 25 times per hour) and 70 lbs intermittently (up to 15 times per hour) with assistance or manual lifting equipment.
  • Physical ability to work extended periods of up to 4 hours standing or walking.
  • Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet using a ladder, aerial device, or platform.
  • Targeted Pay Range: $19.50 – $28.50 per hour.
