Summary
The Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager positions are responsible for delivering an exceptional shopping experience to guests, fulfilling the company’s mission to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible. AITs and Assistant Managers handle a variety of sales, merchandising, and operational tasks such as cashiering, merchandise display, register procedures, and routine cleaning of facilities. They work with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales strategies, recruit and train teammates, and provide leadership.
The Assistant Manager position builds on the AIT role with additional high‑level duties.
Pay range: $16–$21 per hour. The range is estimated; final offers depend on skill set, experience, location, and other factors. For sales positions, the base rate plus commission is included here.

- Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and consistently provide legendary service.
- Answer questions about the store, merchandise, and store policies.
- Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on guest needs.
- Anticipate and fulfill guest needs by suggesting additional items and creating a wardrobe experience.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education, sharing knowledge with teammates.
- Keep up to date on sales and promotions, payment and exchange policies, and security practices.
- Maintain personal sales goals, including sales‑per‑hour, average sales, and total net sales targets set by Store Management.
- Provide legendary service throughout the store: front 5, sales floor, fitting rooms, and register area.
- Know all exchange and return procedures and use them as show‑case opportunities.
- Maintain and build good guest relationships to develop a client‑based business.
- Lead by example with showmanship, excellent customer service, and attentiveness.
- Recognize and communicate guest levels with the team.
