Position Overview
The Regional Sales Associate is responsible for providing regional support to assigned Regional Sales manager. This support includes assisting Territory Managers in closing opportunities, ensuring shipment is complete and customer inquiries. This individual will be a highly motivated, self‑starter. Understands the needs of the Regional team and becomes an advocate for growth in the region. May provide training and knowledge transfer support, as well as coverage when Territories are open and/or Territory Managers are on vacation.
EssentialJob Functions
- Provide Regional support for assigned Regional Sales Manager.
- Support Market level needs, be a liaison to the Territory Managers.
- Assist in closing opportunities and contact customers.
- Understand Install Base for Warranty, up trade and expansion.
- Use Install Base to improve CRM data quality and quantity.
- Identify key buying influencers to determine budget and timeline for better follow up by the Sales Team.
- Build and cultivate relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow‑up communications to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
- Work with Management to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet revenue goals.
- Manage data for new and existing clients in , ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents attached.
- Prepare and analyze reports and dashboards.
- Bachelor Degree/Associates Degree or significant related experience.
- 1-3 years Sales Experience.
- CRM Experience preferred ( recommended).
- Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined lead/sales and activity quotas.
- A proven track record of strong client relationships.
- Excellent written & oral communication skills.
- Excellent client service skills.
- Ability to multi‑task and handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Goal‑oriented individual.
- Team player, able to gain confidence and trust of the Direct Purchase and Field Sales teams.
- Compelling telephone communication skills.
- Strong Customer Relationship Management (CRM) abilities.
- Strong affinity for technology.
- $50,000.00/yr + variable bonus opportunity.
