What You’ll Be Doing

With your sales experience, ability to efficiently manage your time, excellent customer relations skills, and excitement for technology, you’ll deliver outstanding and innovative business solutions that support our technology evolution and change the way businesses connect.

  • Identifying, developing, and qualifying leads within your territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold‑calling, partner‑selling, lead‑generation campaigns, and modern social selling techniques.
  • Gaining new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
  • Retaining, managing, and growing the existing customer base.
  • Coordinating with support partners to educate and excite customers about how they can leverage innovative business solutions.
  • Proactively establishing, building, and maintaining relationships with key decision makers.
  • Effectively presenting and creating multi‑product solution opportunities.
  • Demonstrating a knowledgeable understanding of wireless and mobility products—including Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP, and Google platforms—to promote and position products.
  • Tracking and reporting progress through the consistent use of a variety of sales‑force automation tools.
Compensation and Benefits

This is a commission‑based position with the potential to earn more. Base pay ranges from $53,000.00 to $92,000.00 (MD) and includes a target individual‑based commission. Unlimited commission opportunities may allow top earners to exceed compensation plans.

Travel

This position supports a wireless sales territory centered around Annapolis, MD, and requires travel within and around the area. Expected travel may be up to approximately 50% of the time. The role is hybrid with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in‑person training and meetings.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work or military experience.
  • Experience in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation.
  • Willingness to work in a mobile working model with travel within assigned sales territory.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and/or certifications or college courses.
  • Two or more years of B2B or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold‑calling.
  • Technology sales experience, e.g., SaaS, CRM, Salesforce, social media.
  • Strong presentation skills in face‑to‑face and virtual environments.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain business relationships at all levels of client organizations.
  • Fast‑paced, self‑directed, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Time‑management and prioritization of tasks to accomplish goals.
  • Adaptive to feedback and able to tailor approach for success.
Where You’ll Be Working

Mobile role: primarily work from customer or field locations with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in‑person training and meetings.

Schedule
