Senior Principal Vulnerability Researcher Security Clearance

Job Overview

Nightwing provides technically advanced full‑Spectrum cyber and data operations, systems integration, and intelligence mission support services to the U.S. government. This role focuses on finding zero‑day vulnerabilities, designing and analyzing programmatic behaviors, developing and debugging software applications, and researching new vulnerability techniques.

• Analyze, design, and identify programmatic behaviors.
• Develop, test, and debug software applications.
• Research data and propose new design ideas for vulnerability techniques.
• Apply debugging, fuzzing, and reverse engineering skills in daily work.

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of practical experience in a technology‑related environment.
• Solid understanding of software development and proficiency in C, C++, or Python.
• Experience with program analysis, reverse engineering, and debugging tools (angr, BAP, IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, GDB, Ghidra, Win Dbg).
• Knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems.
• Assembly (x86/x64) experience.
• Understanding of operating‑system internals.
• Experience with exploit development and platforms such as Hack The Box.
• Knowledge of network protocols and socket programming.
• Knowledge of exploit mitigations such as DEP and ASLR.
• Security Clearance TS/SCI with CI Poly (FSP desired but not required).
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications are not required but are an asset (OSCP, OSWP, OSEP, OSWE, etc.).
