Duties
* You will serve as a member of a project team to implement new cybersecurity technologies, policies, and procedures.
* You will apply strong technical skills in Microsoft and/or Linux/Unix server management.
* You will advise team members and colleagues regarding cybersecurity issues and concerns, and recommend courses of action for resolving issues.
* You will provide input to Systems Security Plans as required for network certification and accreditation using the DoN's Risk Management Framework. Requirements Conditions of employment

* This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 442, proficiency level Intermediate. The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies. Qualifications GS-12:
In addition to meeting the Individual Occupational Requirements, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Analyzing cybersecurity standards, policies and procedures to recommend changes needed in existing policies and procedures;
2) Modifying cybersecurity approaches to meet new or unique situations, emergent requirements, or special requirements; and
3) Integrating cybersecurity solutions into the design, development, and/or management of operating systems. GS-11:

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Installing anti-virus software to protect systems;
2) Assisting with the development of solutions to cybersecurity issues; and
3) Conducting vulnerability scans to detect weakness in systems. Specialized experience must also demonstrate the following competencies for IT positions:
