Porsche Annapolis, part of Johnson Automotive Group, is looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Service Shop Attendant to support our Service Department.

This position plays an important behind-the-scenes role in keeping our shop organized, our tools and equipment ready for use, and our Service team operating efficiently.

As a Service Shop Attendant, you will provide day‑to‑day support throughout the Service Department, with primary responsibility for the organization and upkeep of the shop's tool room.

Responsibilities include:

Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly tool room.

Check dealership‑owned tools and specialty equipment in and out as needed.

Help maintain an accurate inventory of tools and equipment.

Inspect tools and equipment for damage, wear, or missing components and report concerns to management.

Clean and perform basic upkeep of tools and equipment.

Organize and properly store tools, equipment, supplies, and materials.

Assist technicians in locating specialty tools and shop equipment.

Help maintain clean, safe, and organized shop and storage areas.

Move, park, stage, and retrieve customer and dealership vehicles as directed.

Assist with receiving, moving, and organizing shop supplies and equipment.

Perform basic shop and facility upkeep as assigned.

Provide general support to Service Department management and team members.

Follow all company safety and vehicle‑operation procedures.

Perform other duties as needed to support Service Department operations.

You don't need to be an automotive technician to succeed in this position. We're looking for someone who is reliable, takes pride in their work, notices the details, and understands the importance of taking care of both the workplace and the vehicles entrusted to us.

Qualified candidates should have:

A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous automotive, maintenance, warehouse, tool room, or similar experience preferred, but not required.

Basic familiarity with hand and automotive tools preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

A dependable work ethic and willingness to assist wherever needed.

Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Basic computer skills.

A valid driver's license and driving record acceptable under company standards.

Ability to safely operate customer and dealership vehicles.

This is a full-time position paying $20.00 per hour
, with a regular schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some weekend availability may be required based on business needs.
