Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing team! The Software Engineer shall be responsible for the development, enhancement, and sustainment of automation tools in support of system management infrastructure software and services for High Performance Computing (HPC) systems in a Linux environment.
Position Required Skills- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
- Experience developing Bash scripts to automate manual processes
- Recent software development experience using Python
- Experience with automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deployment
- Experience performing troubleshooting and debugging issues in an operational system
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as Git Lab CI and Jenkins
- Experience with Git Source Control System
- Familiar with Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools such as Netbox
- Familiar with Observability and Analytics platform solutions such as Splunk
- Familiar with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions such as Keycloak
- Familiar with Secret Management tools such as Hashi Corp Vault
- Familiar with Message Brokers such as Kafka
- Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, Pod Man, containerd
- Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
An active TS/SCI with Maryland polygraph is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $200K - $275K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, we invest in our employees beyond just compensation.
