R ‑Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer (level 1 or
2) to implement new JBlocks capabilities to support expanding data labeling requirements! Could it be you?

• Develop new JBlocks capabilities for expanding data labeling needs.
• Perform both development and enhanced testing.
• Evaluate user issues and reproduce cases in development environments.
• Use Docker, Git Lab, and CI/CD pipelines for development.
• Perform software development within the eVo environment, including using tools such as Grey Box.
• Apply knowledge of EDH1/2, ISM, CAPCO, and CUI standards.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing‑intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real‑time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
• Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade‑offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off‑the‑Shelf (COTS)/Government Off‑the‑Shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
• Review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and document test results.
• Resolve software problem reports.
• Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.

• Active TS/SCI Polygraph.
• High proficiency in Java development.
• Java development experience.
• Understanding of unit and integration testing.
• Familiarity with PKI, REST, Linux, Git Lab CI/CD, Docker.
• Level 1:
  Three years of related experience and a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer engineering or a field related to computer engineering or computer science; an additional 4 years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 7 years.
• Level 2:
  Five years of related experience and a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer engineering or a field related to computer engineering or computer science and 2 years of work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains; an additional 4 years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 9 years.
