• Seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to support all aspects of agile software design and development for a full featured service hosted on large scale compute clusters and AWS Cloud Infrastructure

• Perform requirements analysis, software design, development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution at a high level of proficiency and independence
• Communicate directions and provide guidance to more junior programmer/analysts, as required
• Develop solutions which balance cost, capability, availability and resilience
• Evaluate project needs, determine tasks and durations, and generate and review designs for technical accuracy, completeness

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
• Five (5) or more years of directly related experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field is highly desired which will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience
• A Master's degree in a Technical Field will be considered equivalent to four (4) years of
• experience
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLM) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Proficiency in using AWS SDKs and APIs
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Cloud Formation or Terraform
• Expertise in Continuous Integration, Deployment, Testing and Monitoring practices
• Java programming for distributed systems, with experience in networking and multi-threading
• Agile development experience with source code management practices and tools
• Well-grounded in Linux fundamentals and knowledge in at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, Ruby, Perl, etc.)
• Familiarity with microservices software development techniques and container-orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of security and compliance best practices
• A Cloud Developer Certification:
  • AWS Certified Developer-Associate
  • Elastic Certified Engineer
