Provides IC data management support to modernize mega data repositories, dataflow management, data provenance and compliance validation, and streaming solutions.

Peraton is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to support our Cyber Mission business unit located in Annapolis Junction, MD. The team employs Agile methodologies and Dev Ops principles to ensure that high-quality, reliable software is delivered to the customer. The position is performed at a contractor facility which allows for flexible work schedules. Teleworking is available based on tasking and customer approval.

• Shall have a total of at least twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is highly desired. A Master's degree in a Technical Field will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience. Sixteen years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. A degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar will be considered a technical field.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.

• Full stack development experience, with proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies (Java/JavaScript)
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, such as React or Vue.js
• Familiarity with JSON data structures and data exchange
• Exposure to No
  
  SQL databases, including MongoDB
• Familiarity with search and logging tools such as Elastic Search and the ELK stack
• Experience with in-memory data stores like Redis
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Understanding of Docker orchestration tools like Docker Swarm or Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud computing environments
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab CI/CD or Jenkins
• Experience working with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence
• Possession of at least one of the following Cloud Developer
  
  Certifications:
  
  AWS Certified Developer - Associate
  , AWS Dev Ops Engineer - Professional
  , Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)

• Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)

Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000.
