Software Engineer, Cloud Engineer - Software, DevOps

Position Summary

This is a full‑time position and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance. 2HB Incorporated is seeking a Software Engineer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Four (4) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

The Software Engineer shall be responsible for the development, test, and deployment of production‑ready software features and enhancements of mission applications deployed in an on‑prem enclave and AWS Cloud environments.

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
• Experience developing Bash/Python scripts to automate manual processes
• Software development experience with multiple programming languages such as C/C++ and Java
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as Git Lab CI and Jenkins
• Experience with Git Source Control System

• Software development experience with Web Frameworks such as Vue, React, and Angular
• Experience with Type Script, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Pod Man, containerd
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• AWS Cloud experience
