Job Overview
This senior role fosters collaboration with other senior engineers for the development of advanced data analytics solutions and agile development projects in support of a high‑visibility mission. The program seeks a full stack software engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems supporting Analytic Missions. The position involves providing technical leadership and guidance on data analytics and agile development projects, as well as collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive mission objectives.
Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership and guidance on data analytics and agile development projects.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive mission objectives.
- Design, develop, test, and debug software solutions, primarily on Linux operating systems.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems supporting Analytic Missions.
- Ensure quality through processes including DAT, UAT/SME Validation, Smoke Test, and System Level Test.
- TS/SCI with FSP clearance.
- Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a Software Engineer with similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or four years of additional SWE experience on similar projects).
- Expert knowledge of Java development in a Dev Ops environment.
- Strong familiarity with Linux (command line, troubleshooting, basic bash scripting).
- Desired experience with VMware vSphere, Cisco (NXOS, IOS or ACI), Net App storage, and Puppet.

CompensationThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,200 - $225,975. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market and business considerations when extending an offer.
