Position Description
The Software Engineer shall be responsible for providing engineering support for mission applications in a SaaS/PaaS Linux environment deployed on an ‘on‑prem’ cloud offering developed with open source software using Kubernetes, Docker, Istio, Rook and other cutting‑edge technologies.
Position Required Skills- Proficient using the Linux CLI
- Experience developing and maintaining Bash scripts
- Software development experience using Python in a Linux environment
- Experience with CI/CD concepts, principles, methodologies, and tools such as Git Lab CI
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Experience with S3 Object Store technologies such as IBM Cloud Object Store, AWS S3
- Experience with Git Version Control System
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
