Senior Full Stack Java Software Engineer – Clearance Required

Position at Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, Cyber & Intelligence.

• Provide full‑stack Java software development in support of the Data Transformation Solutions (DTS) TTO.
• Engineer end‑to‑end serverless architectures utilizing the AWS ecosystem.
• Contribute to innovative projects, working with cutting‑edge technologies to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
• Design, develop, and deploy applications that meet evolving client needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus 20 years of SWE experience in similar scope and complexity, or 4 years of additional SWE experience in similar processes may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Required technical skills:
  Java, JavaScript, Python, Agile software environment, designing and implementing caching services for web applications, CI/CD orchestration (Jenkins, Git Hub, Code Pipeline), Jira and Confluence, commercial cloud services (AWS preferred), Dev Ops and CI/CD automation.
• Desired technical skills:
  PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Angular/Vue, full‑stack AWS solutions using API Gateway, Lambda, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Aurora PostgreSQL, corporate authentication services, multi‑source data integration, artifact state management.
• Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts and New York (excluding major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington D.C. ranges from $150,800 to $265,880. Salary for other states reflects the location of the employee.

Work Location:

Onsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Schedule:

9×80, every other Friday off.
