Agile Developer L3 - Full Stack, Cloud, Microservices

We are looking for an experienced Agile Developer to join our rapidly growing team. The role is responsible for full stack development of cloud based applications and microservices.

• Cloud experience: at least 1 year of full stack development, including front-end, API, and backing data stores.
• Experience with Spring Boot microservices, 12-Factor applications, JSON and/or BSON serialization, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design, code, and modify software to add new features, debug defects, and integrate into new or modified systems.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
• Assist in developing and executing test procedures for software components.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, consulting with users or system engineers, analyzing data usage and workflows, and investigating problem areas.
• Serve as team lead at the appropriate level for the software development process used on a specific project.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance.
• Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict outcomes and consequences of design.
• Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces and queries.

• TS/SCI Poly with CI poly within last 7 years.
• BS degree and 9+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript frameworks (React), Git Lab, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, and modern data stores (No
  
  SQL, relational, object).

• Familiarity with Spring, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Swagger, and AWS managed services; system requirements decomposition, release planning, CI/CD, test frameworks and automation, and Agile methodology.
• Familiarity with FOSS & GOTS.

The projected compensation range for this position is $180K - $225K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, contract wage determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
