Halogen Engineering Group is looking for a Software Engineer with web services experience.

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD/Hybrid

Travel Required: No

Shift: Day

Remote Type: Hybrid (Up to 16 hours of telework dependent on tasking)

Security Clearance: Current TS/SCI

Polygraph: Required

The projected compensation range for this position is 224K - 231K (annualized USD).

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements.

• Experience supporting development and execution of test procedures for software components
• Experience generating technical documentation
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Experience ensuring quality control of developed and modified software
• Experience with the following technologies:
  • Git
  • Java, C++, or Python
  • Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
  • SQL

• A Master's degree with eleven (11) years of software engineering experience
• OR a Bachelor’s degree with fourteen (14) years of software engineering experience in a Qualified Engineering Field (Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management) or a related discipline (Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics) from an accredited college or university
• OR a High School Diploma or GED with eighteen (18) years of software engineering experience.
