The Salesforce Developer position will work within a team of Salesforce Developers, Salesforce Admins, Configuration Managers, and various organizational units. This position will be responsible for the technical aspects of Salesforce, including data migration/integration, data quality, systems integration, and custom code.
Location and Schedule- Must be on‑site in Annapolis, MD.
- Initial two‑week fully on‑site training period.
- Hybrid schedule possible after training with at least 3 days on‑site per week.
- Flexible daily start time available.
- Must be a US Citizen.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Technical implementation of Salesforce permission sets, data flows, APEX custom coding.
- Develop in Visualforce, APEX, and other technologies to build a student information system in higher education and military environments.
- Technical leadership, following best practices including integration, application development, deployment, testing (unit and system), and iterative refinement.
- Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code.
- Follow standards and policies set forth within the Client's Division.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of development experience with Salesforce (Certified Salesforce Developer strongly preferred).
- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and API.
- Experience writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers.
- Strong understanding of Oracle relational databases.
- Demonstrated success with multiple Salesforce migration/integration projects.
- Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with customers, leadership, and technical teams.

Job Type: Full‑time
The wage range for this role is $125,000 to $145,000.
Eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program.
