Software Engineer - L1 Annapolis Junction, MD

Technology Resource Experts, LLC is looking for a Software Engineer to join their rapidly growing team!

Software Engineer Level 1 is a junior-level role responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and systems. Candidates typically have some professional experience and a solid foundation in programming, debugging, and software development practices. This role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team while contributing to the delivery of reliable, mission-focused solutions.

• Proficiency working in Linux development environments
• Proficiency coding in Python, C++, Java, or Java Script
• Experience with Git, Git Lab, IDEs (e.g., VSCode, Eclipse)
• Agile framework experience (Scrum, etc.)

• Experience with Software-Defined Radio (SDR) programming
• Experience with geospatial processing
• Experience coding 2D and 3D image displays
• Experience with Git Lab, Git Hub, or similar version control tools
• Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
• BS Degree + 7 years experience

The projected compensation range for this position is $175K - $215K. Compensation may vary based on factors such as contract wage determination, work experience, skills, location, education, and certifications.
