Warehouse Team Member II

Job Purpose

The Warehouse Team Member II provides a well‑stocked and organized warehouse and assists Route Service Managers. Must be able to deliver batteries on a regular basis.

• Load and unload batteries
• Restock batteries
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment
• Accurately maintain warehouse reporting and claims
• Operate a forklift and motor vehicle
• Run the Hot Shots on a timely basis as needed
• Fill in for NAC Delivery Specialist or RSM, as needed
• Collect and handle payments on account (cash, checks, money orders)
• Collect and return junk and/or used batteries to the warehouse
• Follow/fulfill all driver program requirements as specified by the manager
• Other duties as requested

• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience preferred
• Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of carrier operations, shipment routing, and distribution methods
• Knowledge of state, federal, and interstate commerce regulations
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required
• Understanding of hazardous shipping laws and requirements
• Ability to operate motor vehicles and/or forklift
• Clean driver’s record and meet driver qualification requirements

Frequent independent judgment and decision making; backup driver; operate with integrity and demonstrate a positive attitude.

Requirements: regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk. Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to regularly lift and move up to 50lbs, occasionally up to 75lbs. Exposure to battery warehouse conditions, moving equipment, mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.

Exposure to road hazards when operating or riding a vehicle. Use of personal protective equipment required.
