Environmental Compliance, Environmental Engineer, Occupational Health & Safety
Responsible for the identification and assessment of Safety, Health and Environmental (EHS) issues and continually improve performance through the development and implementation of programs focused on prevention. Coordinate all EHS compliance activities including investigations, compliance, analysis, education, and training. Provide EHS expertise for daily operations.
Education (Preferred Education)
· Occupational Safety and Health Degree or Diploma (preferred).
· First Aid Training.
Experience/Knowledge (Required Experience / Knowledge Only)
· >2 years direct EHS experience in a manufacturing setting.
· Knowledge of ANSI standards.
· Knowledge of environmental regulation at all legislative levels.
· Knowledge of workplace safety and health legislation.
· Knowledge of applicable Fire codes, building codes and Life Safety.
Equipment / Machines Used
· Air Quality Testing Equipment.
· Computer.
Specific Job Skills (e.g., computer skills, communication, motivation, organizational skills)
· Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analysis skills.
· Strong computer skills (MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
