• BS degree, or higher, in Engineering is required

• Handle all day-to-day engineering work activities in an assigned area.
• Utilize sound engineering practices in the preparation of work estimates to provide service to new customers, to maintain and to improve the electrical distribution system.
• Engage in engineering major projects such as roadway relocations, budget items, reliability projects, subdivisions, and large commercial projects.
• Provide superior customer service; investigate and resolve customer service issues.
• Be available after business hours for local storm response.
• Maintain a safety-first mindset.

• Experience in engineering, design, or construction of distribution electrical system.
• Proven record of success in a team environment.

• Knowledge of NEC and NESC is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in various computer applications.
• Effective communication and collaboration with employees, customers, developers, consultants, city and state agencies, and others.
• Effective time management skills.
