Buyer, Supply Chain​/Logistics

KOCH FOODS is seeking a Buyer to support our Manufacturing operations within the Procurement, Supply Chain & Logistics department. This role manages purchasing of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery. The Buyer will source and negotiate with suppliers, analyze demand and inventory, and collaborate with production and logistics to support efficient plant operations. Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing of poultry, packaging, and production materials to support manufacturing schedules
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and on-time delivery
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve cost savings and mitigate risk
• Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and forecasts in coordination with production and logistics
• Analyze spend data, market trends, and supplier performance to drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in procurement, supply chain, and operations to resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, and regulatory requirements
• Support new product launches and process improvements through strategic sourcing initiatives
