Welder Fitter

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and fabrication, is seeking a Welder Fitter to join their dedicated team. As a Welder Fitter, you will be an essential part of the industrial operations supporting skilled craftsmanship and precision work. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong work ethic, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder Fitter

Location: Anniston, AL

Pay Range: $18.00 - $23.00 (based on weld test)

Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday - Saturday

What's the Job?

• Perform MIG welding on various materials using 0.35/0.45 wire
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings accurately
• Use a tape measure to ensure precise measurements
• Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely and efficiently
• Participate in weld tests, including fillet weld (T-Joint) tests, at designated locations

What's Needed?

• Proven welding skills with 4+ years of experience required
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Comfortable working with overhead cranes and measuring tools
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Reliable and safety-conscious work attitude
