Forklift Operators

Altex Packaging, Inc (API) is a leading packaging manufacturer based in Anniston, Alabama, specializing in custom corrugated paper and plastic packaging, foam solutions, crates, pallets, retail signage, and point-of-purchase (POP) displays. • Operate forklift to move materials and products
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Transport materials within the warehouse/production area
• Maintain inventory organization
• Perform daily equipment checks

• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting
• Strong attention to safety
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed

Schedule:

Full Time Monday - Friday

Hours:

6 AM to 2:30 PM

Work Environment:
Warehouse

• Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hour shifts in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
• Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of materials up to 50 lbs
• Repetitive use of hands and arms, including grasping, reaching, and handling materials
• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment around machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail for operating equipment and handling products
• Ability to safely operate or work around industrial equipment
• Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection
