Position SummaryLead, guide, and mentor the Maintenance team to maintain all plant equipment and ensure 100% production uptime. Support safety, quality, operational excellence, the lean journey, and continuous improvement while meeting or exceeding internal customer expectations.
What you will do- Ensure all company safety initiatives and requirements are met. Stress Safety Daily!
- Encourage all Maintenance Technicians to recognize safety concerns and push to resolution. (Own it to completion.)
- Support operational excellence through weekly and monthly world‑class 5S audits.
- Maintain a high level of quality of the work performed.
- Maintain the required work schedule while coordinating with production and manufacturing engineering for equipment and area availability.
- Interface and communicate with other departments to ensure production impact is always minimized.
- Conduct daily team huddles with the Maintenance Technicians.
- Provide a daily report of the work completed against the plan.
- Ensure all work orders are completed and closed each day.
- Ensure PMs are turned in daily to the Maintenance Coordinator.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor as requested.
- Good people skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to monitor and control multiple tasks.
- Medium level computer skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read blueprints.
