Want to join a team where you can demonstrate your leadership and help drive new growth? Recycle Room Operator Starting Pay: $19.75-$20.50 per hour, depending on shift 7 days on/7 days off.
Day shift: 6am-6:15pm Night shift: 6pm-6:15am
Benefit Summary- Medical/dental insurance begins day of hire

- Vacation accrual begins on date of hire, 84 hours in first year

- Perform manual labor in a chilled (35 degrees) and wet area
- Wash and stack up to 55lb pallets to chest height and disassemble combos
- Cut and pull plastic & cardboard for recycling
- Run baler and dumper machinery
- Keep hydraulic room and equipment clean and free of debris using approved chemicals and high-pressure hoses
- Assist the MDM Technician on all sanitation break down and reassembly
- Be familiar with all functions of the MDM process to ensure that all safety regulations and devices are adhered to and used properly
- Know and observe all safety and quality rules and procedures at all times
- Know and follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Maintain good communications and working relationship with all other departments
- Be willing and able to cross-train for other functions
- Other duties as assigned
- 18+ years of age, high school diploma/GED required
- Must pass a drug test, physical, and background check
- Able to constantly stand/walk for 12 hours per shift
- Able to lift, push and pull up to 55 pounds on a continuous basis
- Able to constantly work in cold and wet environment
- Able to pass random drug tests
- Have reliable transportation
- Recent experience in manufacturing, in poultry processing a plus
- Proven good attendance record at past employers
- Must be willing to work weekends and overtime
- Must be able to become forklift certified with clean driving record
