Food and Beverage Attendant NA-

This position is located at National Guard Bureau located in Anniston, Alabama.

• Incentives will not be paid.

• Prepares and serves food items, busses tables, cleans tables, rinses and washes dirty utensils and pans.
• Janitorial duties such as sweeping and mopping, cleaning restrooms, re‑stocking of toilet paper and hand towels.
• Assists kitchen and bar staff with retrieving supplies from walk‑in coolers and freezers, taps kegs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one‑year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E‑Verify) check.
• Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training through Serv Safe food safety program is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
• Must meet state/local age (21) requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages. Certificate of Medical Examination required.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre‑employment checks in accordance with AR 215‑3, para.

• Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally‑controlled facilities.
• Work is normally performed inside but will occasionally require working in walk‑in cooler and freezer (37°F – 0°F). Care is required to avoid serious injury in food preparation and storage areas.
