function: insure the proper movement of merchandise and shipments in and out of the distribution center with instruction from distribution center management.

reportability: distribution center manager and traffic supervisor

duties and responsibilities:

• unload all freight and ups, pulls packing slips, and separates purchase orders.
• move shipment to individual taggers for processing.
• move merchandise that has been sorted and tagged from the work stations to the assigned store bay for loading.
• aid in the care and condition of all machinery and equipment assigned to the distribution center.
• keep the distribution center floor clear of clutter, i.e. Pallets, boxes.
• keep incoming freight lines organized.
• notify supervisor/manager of freight vendor errors and chargebacks.
