** Job Description

The Legal Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Legal, Compliance, HR, and related corporate functions, ensuring efficient coordination of daily activities and critical business processes. This role supports governance, corporate recordkeeping, compliance initiatives, and internal stakeholder communication while maintaining high levels of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.

This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Corporate Compliance Legal and is based out of our Anoka office.

* What you’ll do:

*** Manage calendars for legal, HR, and other functions, as requested, arrange travel, process expense reports and coordinate meetings.
* Plan, coordinate, and support company and departmental events, including meetings, trainings, and corporate functions.
* Provide support to the marketing team with arranging travel, expense reports and processing no charge orders
* Review, format, and proofread internal legal and compliance documents, such as corporate resolutions, policies, and correspondence
* Help manage corporate records, assist with entity formations, annual report filings and regulatory deadlines
* Support governance activities, including preparation for the board meetings and provide support to the members of the board
* Maintain and enhance legal and compliance templates, forms, and standardized documentation
* Administer components of the corporate compliance program by gathering documents for due diligence/screening and help with visitor management.
* Coordinate outside counsel onboarding and documentation
* Review and process legal invoices
* Serve as a trusted liaison between legal/compliance and internal stakeholders
* Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document action items, and follow up on deliverables
* Handle ordering and stocking of office supplies and help with shipping and creating labels (Fed Ex, USPS, UPS)
* Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgment
* Identify and escalate potential compliance risks, gaps, or process issues
* Ensure adherence to privacy, data protection, and ethical standards
* Responsible for notarizing legal and business documents, including affidavits
* Sort and deliver mail for legal, compliance and HR teams
* Track and manage attorney Continuing Legal Education, State Bar compliance and license renewals, professional organization memberships
** Experience you bring:
*** Associate’s degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, Compliance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* ** 4–6 years
** of experience in an in‑house legal, compliance, or corporate legal operations role
* Working knowledge of corporate legal and compliance programs
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Experience with travel, booking and expense software
* Active Notary Public commission in the state of Minnesota required
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong organizational, prioritization, and deadline‑management skills
* High attention to detail with a quality‑control mindset
* Clear, professional written and verbal communication
* Sound judgment, discretion, and integrity
