Description As a Body Shop Detailer, you are responsible for ensuring vehicles repaired through the Body Shop are cleaned, detailed, and presented to the highest quality standards before customer delivery. This role supports the Body Shop team through vehicle movement, general shop assistance, facility cleanliness, and preparing vehicles for repair and delivery. You will model behaviors and a culture for success including integrity, respect, drive, community, fun, and pride without ego, with self-confidence, and creativity.

Job Duties and Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

Wash, clean, and detail vehicles after body shop repairs to dealership quality standards.

Clean and prepare vehicles being evaluated for Body Shop estimates or repair work.

Perform interior and exterior detailing, including vacuuming, window cleaning, polishing, and final vehicle preparation.

Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials and contaminants while following manufacturer recommendations and safety guidelines.

Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, damage, or cleanliness concerns and report findings to the Body Shop Manager.

Move vehicles safely throughout the dealership and Body Shop as needed.

Transport vehicles between departments, vendors, and designated dealership locations.

Assist Body Shop Technicians and other team members with non-technical tasks as needed.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Body Shop, detail area, parking lot, and surrounding work spaces.

Dispose of waste materials and maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

Ensure all completed vehicles meet dealership presentation standards prior to customer delivery.

Fuel vehicles as needed.

Operate all tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe manner.

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the Body Shop Manager.

Qualifications Requirements:

Strong motivation and work ethic.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the workday.

Comply with all dealership and manufacturer job-related training and requirements.

Adhere to employee handbook policies and procedures.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to provide positive internal and external customer experience.
