Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our HIMS (Health Information Management Systems) EHR (Electronic Health Record) Analyst Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a HIMS EHR Regulatory Data Analyst! This position will collaborate with clinical and administrative stakeholders to identify requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions that improve workflow, ensure legal health record integrity, and enhance patient care.
Therole requires strong collaboration and leadership skills to ensure EHR systems meet end-user needs while maintaining compliance and supporting organizational goals.
Primary responsibilities:
- Implementation, integration, and maintenance of EHR systems.
- System governance, data management, and reporting.
- Quality assurance, compliance, and performance improvement.
- System analysis and evaluation.
- Troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Experience using and/or training on EHRs and the understanding of general EHR needs across multiple professional disciplines.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed technical information such as EHR wiki resources.
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics in a way that users understand, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to analyze organizational needs and design and develop effective, efficient solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, working both independently and in a team setting.
- Knowledge of hospital systems and workflow.
- Experience working with EHR systems and data to effectively translate EHR data into meaningful outcomes.
- Experience with medical terminology.
- Experience working with electronic medical records/computer systems and related software applications including MS Office.
- Knowledge and experience with quality improvement or patient safety.
