Academic Support – Literacy Specialist (TOSA)
Full‑time position for the 2026‑27 school year at Coon Rapids High School.
Duties- Secondary Literacy Specialists support teachers and interventionists to improve Tier 1–3 literacy instruction through coaching, modeling, and professional development.
- Serve as the school’s READ Act training and support leader.
- Use data and MTSS structures to align interventions, implement READ Act requirements, and ensure evidence‑based practices that meet diverse student needs.
- Reading or English/Language Arts or K‑6 Elementary Educator or EL License.
- Licensed staff on regular teaching contracts who meet the minimum requirements.
Rate of pay: $53,529 to $106,751, based on full‑time equivalency and verified placement on the salary schedule.
