Academic Support - Literacy Specialist (Teacher on Special Assignment)

INTERNAL ONLY - OPEN TO ALL LICENSED STAFF ON REGULAR TEACHING CONTRACT WHO MEET THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Location: Coon Rapids High School
DutiesSecondary Literacy Specialists support teachers and interventionists to improve Tier 13 literacy instruction through coaching, modeling, and professional development. They will serve as their school's READ act training and support leader. They use data and MTSS structures to align interventions, implement READ Act requirements, and ensure evidence-based practices that meet diverse student needs.
Minimum QualificationsRequires Reading or English/Language Arts or K-6 Elementary Educ or EL License. (Anoka-Hennepin will make every effort to hire teachers with full standard licenses in the assigned subject and grade level.)
Start Date
: 8/31/26.
Rate of Pay: $53,529 to $106,751. Rate is based on full-time equivalency and verified placement on the salary schedule, with 1.0 FTE being full time. View additional terms and benefits here.
