Key

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required; certification and resume must be provided for consideration)
• Experience in elementary special education, with an understanding of individualized education program (IEP) implementation
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to a range of learning needs
• Commitment to maintaining a supportive and inclusive classroom culture

Responsibilities:

• Provide resource support and instruction for elementary students with varying special education needs
• Develop and implement IEPs to facilitate student progress, maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Utilize creative and project-based approaches in math, science, and engineering to promote engagement and understanding
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
• Contribute to collaborative planning with general education teachers and related service providers

This full-time contract runs from September to June, offering 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The position is onsite at a vibrant and innovative elementary school dedicated to providing all students with opportunities to excel in STEM.
