Enjoy a stable weekday schedule with 37.5 hours each week, Monday through Friday, within a dedicated and collaborative special education environment.
Qualifications&
Experience:
- Must hold an active Minnesota Teaching License
- Tier 3 or Tier 4 Minnesota teaching license required
- Background in special education, especially with students with developmental and cognitive disabilities, is preferred
- Ability to create inclusive, engaging lessons and build positive relationships with students
- Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with other educators, aides, and families
- Commitment to individualized instruction and data-informed teaching strategies
- Foster a welcoming, supportive classroom for elementary students with a wide spectrum of developmental and cognitive needs
- Design and implement IEPs and tailored learning plans in alignment with each students strengths and goals
- Collaborate routinely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and classroom team to ensure comprehensive support
- Communicate progress clearly and compassionately to families and school professionals
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance instructional approaches
