Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise as a Special Education Teacher will support elementary students within a center-based program near Anoka, MN. This position runs from ASAP through June 3, 2027, offering a structured schedule of 40 hours per week. Youll work closely with a caseload of approximately 11 students numbers may vary due to enrollment changes helping them achieve their individual goals in a supportive environment.
KeyQualifications:
- Active Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License (Tier 1 and Tier 2 accepted, Tier 3 or 4 preferred)
- Licensure in Emotional or Behavioral Disorders (EBD) is required
- Demonstrated commitment to serving students with diverse needs in a school-based setting
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with emotional or behavioral disorders in a center-based elementary environment
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with school teams and families
- Employ evidence-based strategies to foster academic, social, and behavioral success
- Track progress, maintain accurate records, and regularly report on student outcomes
- Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other educators to create an inclusive and positive classroom community
