Special Education Teacher - Anoka, Minnesota

• Hold an active Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License (Tier 1 or Tier 2 acceptable; preference for Tier 3 or Tier
  4).
• Licensed in Emotional or Behavioral Disorders (EBD).
• Prior experience supporting students with emotional and behavioral needs is highly valued.
• Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction skills.
• Ability to foster positive learning environments and collaborate with support staff and families.
• Flexibility and adaptability as caseload numbers may fluctuate.

• Provide daily specialized instruction to a group of elementary students (typically around 11, subject to enrollment changes).
• Develop and implement IEPs in alignment with state and federal requirements.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and related service providers to deliver holistic student support.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate progress with families and team members.
• Participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Create a safe, welcoming classroom where all students are empowered to achieve their best.
