Position Overview

In this role, you’ll design metal stamping dies, from simple one-hit tools to complex progressive and transfer systems, working alongside sales, toolmakers, and production to bring sophisticated tooling concepts to life.

What You’ll Do
  • Engineer innovative metal stamping die solutions, from simple one-hit tools to complex progressive and transfer systems
  • Drive early-stage concept development by partnering with the estimating team to create competitive, manufacturable designs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with toolmakers and production to move projects efficiently from concept to completion
  • Lead and contribute to customer-facing design reviews
  • Assist in tool debugging and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance
  • Continuously improve tooling performance, manufacturability, and internal processes
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience designing metal stamping dies, including progressive
  • Strong CAD proficiency, preferably Solid Works and surfacing
  • Deep understanding of stamping processes, material flow, and die construction
  • Strategic thinker who considers cost, manufacturability, serviceability, and long-term tool performance
  • Confident communicator comfortable leading technical discussions and customer design reviews
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to drive projects forward
  • Detail-oriented problem solver who takes ownership from concept through completion
