WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITIONIn this role you will join our Electrical and Controls team to support the development of Cooling Interruption Units and Industrial Air Conditioning solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIESResearch, select, and integrate electrical power components, motors, drives and control systems
Specify and support verification and validation testing to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance of the components
Integrate electrical components and practices to ensure performance to EMC specifications
Provide technical mentoring to team members supporting the projects and products
Investigate the root cause of component failures and implement corrective actions
Support current product issue identification and provide resolution
Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including engineering project leads, project management, and marketing to deliver solutions to our customers
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering;
Master's degree preferredMinimum of 10 years of experience in Electrical Control Systems design
Experience with hardening and testing designs to comply with EMC standards
Demonstrated experience developing control systems and algorithms
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
