Job Description

Responsibilities

+ Evaluate potential and current suppliers for manufacturing capabilities, quality systems, and performance.

+ Act as a critical link between production, program teams, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.

+ Establish collaborative relationships with internal teams to identify and mitigate production risks.

+ Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities, emphasizing quality.

+ Evaluate supplier robustness and validate the effectiveness of their actions.

+ Lead supplier engagement and cadences.

+ Participate in audits and lead the Supplier PPAP process to maintain manufacturing excellence.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's Degree, preferably in an engineering discipline.

+ 3+ years of experience in Supplier Quality related functions.

+ Experience in supplier quality and root cause analysis.

+ Proficiency in using APQP, PPAP, and CAPA methodologies.

+ Auditing experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 or similar standards.

+ Strong knowledge of corrective action plans, FMEA, and statistical process control.

+ Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean, or process improvement methodologies.

Work Environment

The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive approach to ensure the highest quality standards in manufacturing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and sourcing, in a collaborative environment. The position may involve travel to supplier sites for audits and assessments. A professional attire is expected when representing the company at supplier locations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Anoka, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
