Supplier Quality Engineer

Anoka, MN (Full onsite)

• Evaluate potential and current suppliers for manufacturing capabilities, quality systems, and performance.
• Act as a critical link between production, program teams, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Establish collaborative relationships with internal teams to identify and mitigate production risks.
• Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities, emphasizing quality.
• Evaluate supplier robustness and validate the effectiveness of their actions.
• Lead supplier engagement and cadences.
• Participate in audits and lead the Supplier PPAP process to maintain manufacturing excellence.

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in an engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in Supplier Quality related functions.
• Experience in supplier quality and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in using APQP, PPAP, and CAPA methodologies.
• Auditing experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 or similar standards.
• Strong knowledge of corrective action plans, FMEA, and statistical process control.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean, or process improvement methodologies.

The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive approach to ensure the highest quality standards in manufacturing. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including engineering and sourcing, in a collaborative environment. The position may involve travel to supplier sites for audits and assessments and requires professional attire when representing the company at supplier locations.

Pay range: $ – $ per year.
