Job Title:
Supplier Quality Engineer Responsibilities
- Evaluate potential and current suppliers for manufacturing capabilities, quality systems, and performance.
- Act as a critical link between production, program teams, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
- Establish collaborative relationships with internal teams to identify and mitigate production risks.
- Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities, emphasizing quality.
- Evaluate supplier robustness and validate the effectiveness of their actions.
- Lead supplier engagement and cadences.
- Participate in audits and lead the Supplier PPAP process to maintain manufacturing excellence.
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in an engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in Supplier Quality related functions.
- Experience in supplier quality and root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in using APQP, PPAP, and CAPA methodologies.
- Auditing experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 or similar standards.
- Strong knowledge of corrective action plans, FMEA, and statistical process control.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean, or process improvement methodologies.
The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive approach to ensure the highest quality standards in manufacturing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and sourcing, in a collaborative environment. The position may involve travel to supplier sites for audits and assessments. A professional attire is expected when representing the company at supplier locations.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
