CAD Designer

Overview

Designer – New Product Introduction (NPI) team  will work with cross‑functional engineering, manufacturing, and product management teams to support product development, manufacturing, and customer solutions.

• Create and revise detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings for components, assemblies, and systems using Solid Works.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and product management teams to ensure design intent and manufacturability.
• Maintain drawing standards and documentation in accordance with company and industry guidelines.
• Support prototype development and testing by providing accurate design data and documentation.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage and organize CAD files and design documentation within PLM systems.
• Design, build, and help qualify fixtures, custom tools, and inspection tools.

• Associate degree or technical certification in CAD, mechanical design, or related field;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ideally 5+ years of experience in CAD design, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Proficient in Solid Works software.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

• Pay range: $23.90 – $44.40 per hour, depending on position and location.
