Supplier Quality Engineer

RFA Engineering is an engineering service provider dedicated to delivering timely engineering support and expertise to clients. We are seeking an entry-level to experienced candidate to become an integral part of our client's engineering team. The selected candidate will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools and processes. This position will operate onsite at our customer's facility.

• Lead print reviews and part to print activities
• Conduct design/process/assembly reviews, supplier FMEA reviews and PPAP approvals for outsourced parts.
• Engage in non-conformance corrective actions for supplier parts
• Pursue production line quality resolutions
• Complete supplier and line quality containment of non-conforming parts
• Execute supplier quality readiness visits and key suppliers
• Support fit-ups and complete root cause analysis for fit-up issues on supplier parts.

• Technical, Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or related field required
• Experience with all elements of PPAP
• Must be a self-starter, have good communication skills, and be able to work as part of a team
• Must have a valid Drivers License
• Ability to travel domestically up to 25%.

• Understanding of quality systems/tools, including APQP process
• Strengths in facilitation, documentation and leadership
• Experience with GD&T and modeling software
• Project management experience
• Ability to lead without authority
• Ability to convey topics at both a technical and high level effectively
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
• Welding, fabrication, sheet metal, hydraulic, electrical and/or paint experience is a plus

Pay Range: $65,000-$85,000 commensurate with experience.
