60+ year-old (and growing!) industrial equipment engineering & manufacturing company has an opening for an Engineering Lab Technician. Direct-hire position with competitive benefits!
Duties:- Fabricate parts and assemblies from concept drawings and sketches
- Assemble thermal systems – including mechanical assembly, brazing, and electrical
- Set up and run product tests using data acquisition systems or standalone test instrumentation
- Assist in analyzing test data through Microsoft Excel
- Write comprehensive reports to communicate test set-ups and results
- Purchase lab equipment, tools, and supplies
- Associates Degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical or HVAC / Refrigeration a plus)
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience working with thermal systems (HVAC, refrigeration, etc.) preferred
- Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience with data acquisition systems (Lab View, etc.) a plus
- Solidworks experience a plus
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Salary: $33-35/hr.
