Accounting Associate

Zurich North America is hiring an Accounting Associate to join their Finance team! We are open to hiring talent in our Zurich office located in Anoka, MN. The successful candidate under guidance will support the Business Partnering function for a Business Unit by leveraging basic financial information and analysis to highlight key trends to provide recommendations to address areas for concern.

• Complete/run reports and provide analysis of findings
• Reconciliations of premium, payments, losses, premium due, etc.…
• Review GL, bank statements and reports to find and fix issues.
• 1099 reporting
• Cash management
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree and no prior experience in the Accounting or Finance area
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an Associate Degree and no prior experience in the Accounting or Finance area AND
• Knowledge of accounting or finance principles

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic to intermediate excel skills with pivot table, formulas experience
• Insurance experience & Crop Insurance

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. If your expectations are above the listed range, we still encourage you to apply—your unique background matters to us. The proposed Salary range for this position is $52,000.00 - $85,100.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
