Role OverviewThe Senior Director of Global Pricing serves as a pivotal leader responsible for the strategic design and operational execution of pricing across a global $3B segment. This role oversees a multi‑business‑unit portfolio, orchestrates a global team, and leverages Centers of Excellence across the world. The mandate is to drive sustainable margin expansion and top‑line growth through sophisticated value‑based pricing, robust governance, and enterprise‑level pricing technologies.
Responsibilities- Global Leadership & Strategy – Direct and develop a high‑performing global pricing organization, ensuring seamless integration between BU strategies and the operational support provided by CoEs in India, Mexico, and Poland.
- Strategic Architecture – Define and implement a comprehensive pricing architecture, leading with value‑based pricing models and ensuring optimal market positioning across diverse geographies.
- Financial Performance & Margin Management – Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Finance to handle the “price‑cost” relationship, protecting margins against inflationary pressures and optimizing them through lifecycle analysis.
- Price Realization – Drive segment‑wide initiatives to improve net price realization, using rigorous margin analysis to uncover opportunities in the pricing waterfall.
- Operational Agility & Governance Execution – Optimize “Speed to Quote”; lead the Deal Desk and Delegations of Authority to ensure disciplined yet rapid decision‑making.
- Policy & Compliance – Establish and implement global discount policies; maintain full compliance with SOX and internal audit controls.
- Digital Transformation & Analytics – Executive sponsor for the pricing tech stack, overseeing Price Fx and CPQ systems and ensuring integration with global ERPs for a single source of truth.
- Advanced Analytics – Deploy leading and lagging KPIs, including pricing program adoption, price‑volume‑mix, and elasticity modeling.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Serve as strategic advisor to BU and Product Leaders, aligning pricing strategies with customer satisfaction goals and profitable sales growth.
- Market Intelligence – Monitor and interpret global macroeconomic trends and competitive maneuvers to proactively adjust segment‑level pricing postures.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- 8+ years of experience leading a pricing function, with a background in sales and/or finance.
- Experience in value pricing, competitive analysis, financial analysis, and leakage elimination.
- Experience leading a global team, both directly and indirectly through influence, and collaborating cross‑functionally worldwide.
- Skilled in conceptual, analytical, and quantitative problem‑solving with experience generating sophisticated financial models.
- Experience with modern pricing platforms (e.g., Price Fx, CPQ solutions such as Tacton) integrated with global ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power Pivot, and BI.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and thrive in a fast‑paced, self‑directed team environment.
- Advanced knowledge of pricing methodologies, discount programs, and customer segmentation.
- Familiarity with data management, reporting tools, and analytics.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or experience with Jira is a plus.
- Ability to inspire change in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.

- Pay Transparency:
Compensation range $204,400 – $304,000, with eligibility for annual incentives.
