  • Oversee operations for complex public health programs, primarily administering and coordinating the Opioid Settlement Fund
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for RFPs, grants, and contracts
  • Coordinate proposal development, leadership and purchasing review, review teams, applicant questions, award processes, and timely payments
  • Meet with RFP recipients, provide technical assistance, respond to requests, support reporting, and maintain tracking systems, invoices, and documentation
  • Coordinate public health communications, including social media, ADA-compliant images, website updates, and media activities
  • Lead naloxone activities, including onboarding access-point sites, supporting existing sites, and coordinating supplies
  • Participate in and co-lead committee meetings and leadership groups with internal and external partners
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local rules for opioid programming, grants, contracts, and reporting
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships supporting community health promotion, prevention, treatment, and recovery networks
  • Manage public outreach, community engagement, events, and stakeholder communications
  • Facilitate planning committees, contribute to project development, and implement Anoka County initiatives
  • Manage data collection, analyze program and community data, and use findings for planning and continuous improvement
  • Develop quarterly, annual, and program-specific reports; analyze findings and draft recommendations
  • Research evidence-based strategies, identify service gaps, and recommend best practices
  • Contribute to community health assessment, improvement planning, and departmental strategic planning
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in public health, behavioral science, social work, or a closely related field
  • Two years (2,080 annual hours) of job-related experience in substance use disorder treatment and/or education focused on prevention
  • Two years (2,080 annual hours) of job-related experience managing grants, budgets, and/or funding projects
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment
  • Ability to travel to various county work sites and meetings as needed
  • Ability to use computers, phones, and standard office equipment
  • Ability to perform required sedentary work and occasional lifting of 10–20 lbs.
  • Successful completion of applicable pre-employment criminal/driving background check, drug screen, DOT physical, and/or other qualification checks may be required
  • Ability to provide required informed consent for pre-employment screenings and qualification verification
