Supply Chain Manager
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for guiding material planning, sourcing, inventory, and logistics activities. This position will shape supply chain strategy, strengthen supplier partnerships, and help ensure parts and materials are available when needed while meeting cost, quality, and regulatory expectations. The role also works closely with production, engineering, quality, and program teams to support reliable delivery performance and continuous operational improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Create and direct supply chain plans that support production demand, business priorities, and customer delivery targets.
• Lead purchasing activities, supplier evaluation, contract discussions, and sourcing decisions for specialized materials, components, and external services.
• Partner with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to confirm suppliers meet aerospace standards and applicable compliance requirements.
• Analyze inventory, replenishment cycles, and material movement to reduce shortages, excess stock, and obsolete items.
• Supervise and develop buyers, planners, logistics team members, and warehouse personnel to build a high-performing operation.
• Define and track performance measures for supplier results, service levels, cost control, and overall supply chain efficiency.
• Manage inbound and outbound transportation activities, including freight coordination and trade compliance requirements where applicable.
• Build strong relationships with key vendors and drive supplier improvement efforts that enhance quality, responsiveness, and reliability.
• Support planning, purchasing, and reporting processes through effective use of enterprise systems and continuous process improvement initiatives.
